I am so excited to find a Christ-centered homeschool platform. I am a mother of three children, and the youngest two have been home educated since Kindergarten. I have held many positions in the homeschool community including as a tutor at our local co-op. I have been an online educator for over 3 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Miami University where I graduated with honors with distinction. I have a J.D. (law degree) and M.B.A. from The College of William & Mary. I have worked at at a children’s museum, archaeological education center, and as an attorney. I am a licensed attorney in the state of Virginia where I worked as in-house counsel for a software company.

I grew up in the United Methodist Church, but heard Jesus call my name when I was 26 years old. I watched as my once non-religious husband entered a personal relationship with Christ. I did not have that relationship at the time. Then in my confusion (because I thought I was saved, having grown up “religious”), Jesus called me to Him. It was the most beautiful moment and there are tears in my eyes as I remember it. Then he uprooted my family as my husband lost his job and caused us to move out of state, which meant that I could no longer practice law. He is ever-faithful though, as he led me to be a home school mom and I have the privilege to spend each day with my family in worship, and teach them and other precious children in my community. We are completely dependent on His leading and, although our lives are simple, we are in His hands.

Reading, singing, spending time with my family, learning, teaching, hiking, gardening, and volunteering.

    Currently, there are no courses.
