After graduating from West Chester University with a secondary teaching degree, I taught various classes over nine years. While teaching, I continued my education to earn my Masters in English. Teaching in Christian schools afforded me the opportunity to teach a variety of courses all from a Christian worldview. I taught courses such as seventh grade English, American Literature to high school juniors, Public Speaking, all levels of middle school German, SAT Prep, and an Old Testament survey course. I left teaching to stay home with my children and am now excited to get back into the classroom again.
As a young girl, I was introduced to Jesus and his sacrifice on my behalf. As I grew, I readily embraced this truth and his work as the only way to salvation. Over the years, I’ve experienced ebbs and flows in my walk; however one thing has remained constant: The Lord is with me, sustaining and strengthening me and drawing me closer to Himself.
I love cooking, reading, and crafting with my daughters. On a rare free Saturday afternoon, you’re most likely to find me busy with my family, playing board games with my son or making jewelry with my daughter.
