My name is Rachel Reames. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Taylor University in Christian Educational Ministries. I have a passion for helping families with young children. Over my fifteen year profession career, I have been an assistant director of an early childhood program, an early childhood ministries director, a family support specialist, swim instructor, and an English as a second language tutor. I enjoy creating curriculum, especially on the topic of character development in children. My husband, Casey, and I have two sons who are five and two.
I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home. My parents taught me how Jesus, God’s one and only son, came to die for my sins. I had a child like faith and at 5 years of age I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. I knew that God loved me and wanted me to follow Him. I was very active in my church growing up and enjoyed many church camps, ministries, and mission trips. I felt called by God into ministry when I was a senior in high school and pursued a Christian Educational Ministries degree. After college, I spent many years as a Family Support Specialist for two nonprofit organizations before focusing my time at home when I became a mother. Throughout my life, God has been an ever present source of peace and love. Without God’s unconditional love, I do not know what I would do! He is my Heavenly Father and my ultimate desire in life is to know Him more and draw others to Him.
My family enjoys camping, hiking, and fishing. We love to be in the great outdoors and enjoying all of God’s beautiful creation! I also enjoy reading and participating in my church’s Bible studies.
