Hello Everyone! My name is Jennifer Heric. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University and, shortly after, my Master’s in Nursing from Kean College of New Jersey. Over the past twenty-five years, I have enjoyed caring for people of varying ages from many different cultures and backgrounds. As a nurse, I especially loved my role as a patient educator. I took that love of teaching into homeschooling my four children. I have also been privileged to teach middle and high school math and sciences at a local homeschool cooperative. My favorite thing to discuss with my students is God’s most miraculous creation, the human body.
I was blessed to be introduced to Jesus at an early age by my parents. They not only spoke directly to me about my need for a savior, but they purposefully surrounded me with God-fearing role models. When I was eight years old, I accepted Christ as my savior at a Bible camp. I am grateful and humbled that He has been growing and molding me ever since. One of my favorite verses is Psalm 121:1-2 “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”
I enjoy reading, learning something new, spending time with my family and anything that involves being outdoors.
