Organization, balance of power, rights and liberty; these are all words that we use to describe the governing powers that be. Who truly holds the power of our government, how does one affect change, what is the government’s job anyways? These are all questions that we will reason out and discuss in this high school level US Government class. In this 14-week class we will discuss the foundational principles and philosophies of government, examine the US Constitution, delve into the organization of each branch of our government and discuss what our individual rights and responsibilities as citizens are here in the great nation of America. The class will use a variety of multimedia resources, outside reading assignments, and class discussions to explore these topics.
ALL CONTENT FOR THE COURSE WILL BE POSTED TO BEGIN AUGUST 2021.
