In this 2 session, self-paced Music class, students will learn to sing 10 Christmas carols with an ukulele accompaniment:
1. Angels We Have Heard On High
2. Away in a Manger
3. The First Noel
4. Go Tell It On The Mountain
5. Hark, the Herald Angels Sing
6. Jingle Bells
7. Joy to the World
8. O Come All Ye Faithful
9. Silent Night
10. We Wish You a Merry Christmas
All lyrics will be posted in the classroom for students to view ahead of time or to refer to after class.
The wonderful thing about this 2-session self-paced class is that the students can watch the videos over and over again for 4 weeks. If they don’t know one of the songs, they can listen to it a few times before singing along.
These songs can be sung Christmas caroling in neighborhoods, hospitals, nursing homes or just when getting together with family or friends in person or via video. Singing Christmas carols is sure to help students of all ages get into the Christmas spirit, as well as remind them about the true meaning of the season: Christ’s birth!
