Joy to the World (Self-paced)

In this class, students will learn about the history of some of the most well-known Christmas carols. Each lesson will cover 3 carols. I will post the words to each of these carols, as well as some handouts on the information.
There will also be some puzzles to solve using the names of the carols that are being discussed. In this self-paced course, students will be able to look back at each of these lessons throughout the month of December. They can share the information that they learn with their families whether they get together for Christmas or have their celebration on Zoom!
This course will help students to better understand and appreciate each of these carols. We will also look at the Bible verses that inspired each of these songs as we reflect on the reason for the season: Jesus’ birth!
