What is STEAM?
STEAM is an acronym that stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. What does Disney World have to do with STEAM? The Imagineers at Disney are masters of creating magical experiences by mixing the elements of STEAM in rides, shows, architecture, and games.
Course Methods:
Students will explore ways in which each STEAM specialty is represented in EPCOT through virtual field trips and interactive mini-projects.
There are five lessons in this course:
1. Science – Sea Creatures
2. Technology – 360° Videos
3. Engineering – Car Design
4. Art – Festival of the Arts
5. Math – Geodesic Spheres

We enjoyed having the flexibility to complete this class on our own timetable. It was a unique class in that it was all centered around different aspects of Disney and we enjoyed seeing the STEAM components applied in this unique way, getting a taste of some "behind the scenes" work that goes into Disney.
