This is a single class preview for Classical Connections – Read-Aloud Fun which will be offered for Cycle 2 in Fall of 2019. Using a variety of living books, games, illustrations, and tools, we will explore topics related to classical learning cycles including science, ancient history, English grammar, geography, mathematics, art study, and poetry. This course utilizes a “morning basket” approach to learning. Students (and parents) will make meaningful connections with memory work and learn some new grammar! Families participating in a classical community will find this course is a fun, no-stress, no-prep way to flesh out your memory work weekly. This class includes our favorites from Cycle 1. We will not be reviewing memory work, just expounding on the topics covered. Try it with your students today!
