In this full year General Music course, I will be offering 32 lessons to 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students.
The content of this class is EXACTLY THE SAME as the content of both 1-3 Grade General Music Semester 1–Fall and 1-3 Gr. General Music Semester 2–Spring classes at a discounted price.
In this class, students will learn the basics of music, such as rhythms (note names and note values), instruments and note letter names. Flash cards, posters and audio/video recordings will be used to aid in learning.
Each month, the students will study a famous composer. Worksheets and listening guides will be provided. Below are the composers we will be studying:
September–Vivaldi
October–Bach
November–Handel
December–Haydn
January–Mozart
February–Beethoven
March–Rossini
April–Brahms
May–Saint-Saens
The students will also learn a different Scripture song each month. PowerPoint slides and audio/video recordings will be used.

October-Books of the Old Testament, Books of the New Testament
November–Thank You, God
December–Silent Night, Go Tell It On The Mountain and Joy to the World
January–Do Not Be Afraid and Again, I Say Rejoice
February–I Can Do All Things
March–Make a Joyful Noise and With Me Everywhere
April–There Were 12 Disciples
May–Little People Can Do Big Things
