Discussion and lecture will focus on ways art depicts religious ideology. Opportunities to interpret art and create art that expresses a Christology will be an active part of class participation. The final project for this class will be to create a modern interpretation of “the stations of the cross” for people to interact with and experience at the student’s local church or another religious/art group the student is involved with.
Prerequisites: Student should enjoy creating their own art for this course and also demonstrate writing skills.
